Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel is a British actor best known for the role of Missandei in HBO's massive adventure "Game of Thrones". (HBO 2011-19). Emmanuel lived in Southend-on-the-Sea a resort in Essex and was attracted to the performing arts at the age of three. Nathalie started taking singing, acting and dancing lessons around the age of three. The parents of her were impressed. Emmanuel was an impressive actor who grew rapidly. By the end of the 90s she was playing the role of a young Nala in "The Lion King," a West End musical that has been acclaimed. Emmanuel started auditioning when she was a young teen for film and TV roles. She was able to land her first role of note when she appeared as Sasha Valentine in the British soap opera Hollyoaks (Channel 4 1995-). Emmanuel performed the role for four years, eventually dropping the show in 2010. Emmanuel had her second break three years after that as she was chosen in the role of Missandei on the HBO show Game of Thrones. She performed the role of Daenerys's interpreter (played by Emilia Clarke). Emmanuel would go on to appear in each subsequent seasons of "Game of Thrones," all the way through the final episode on May 19, 2019.
